Agile Edge Technologies, Inc. Signs Partnership Agreement with Entre Systems for Direct Sales to the Military Medical Market

Thursday, April 30, 2009

Agile Edge Technologies (AET) partnership agreement with Entra Health Systems will provide access to the latest cutting edge medical technology to our nations Military Service Personnel.

Entra Health Systems, an international applied healthcare technology company today introduced the MyGlucoHealth Bluetooth®-enabled blood glucose meter as an integrated telehealth solution for improving the care and monitoring of diabetics within U.S. military health. MyGlucoHealth is a comprehensive wireless diabetes management platform that is based on the MyGlucoHealth meter, the first FDA cleared and CE certified Bluetooth device of its kind in the world.

MyGlucoHealth monitors a patient’s day-to-day blood sugar readings and communicates that status directly to designated military healthcare providers. At the same time, MyGlucoHealth provides direct feedback and resources to keep the patient informed and motivated to take direct control over their personal condition.

To facilitate the roll out of MyGlucoHealth to the U.S. military medical commands, Entra Health signed a strategic sales partnership agreement with Agile Edge Technologies (AET) of McLean Virginia. AET will direct the sale of MyGlucoHealth diabetic care technology to all major commands including the Army Medical Department (AMEDD), the Army’s Telemedicine Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) and the Veterans Administration.

“The goal of integrating the MyGlucoHealth telehealth platform into the military medical environment is to optimize the monitoring and treatment of diabetics worldwide before, during and after deployments, while taking steps to reduce costs and avoid acute events,” said Richard Strobridge, Chief Executive Officer of Entra Health Systems. “Using MyGlucoHealth within the military will greatly extend the reach of the physician and improve the continuity of care for every soldier, sailor or Marine throughout medical commands worldwide.”

“Army Medical alone represents one of the largest health care networks in the world, managing the care of three million beneficiaries worldwide,” said Gerry Newland, Executive Vice President of Agile Edge Technologies. “We believe MyGlucoHealth can be fully integrated with existing patient care solutions within the military medicine environment. The transient nature of the military makes MyGlucoHealth an excellent solution to centralize monitoring while providing greater efficiency and improved care.”

The Bluetooth communication built-in to every MyGlucoHealth meter connects patients with a real-time online data collection network to upload and manage blood tests using a mobile phone or PC. Within the hospital, clinic or forward medical commands, physicians can log-in to the MyGlucoHealth Physicians’ Portal to independently view a full patient dashboard, evaluate graphs and data interpretations, as well as set monitoring alerts to be notified directly or alert local personnel. Access permission to the Physician Portal can be granted to multiple clinicians to view a specific population of patient data. Data from the Portal can be merged with the patient’s health record stored in the centralized Hospital Information Systems (HIS).

Agile Edge Technologies, Inc. merges with Datric Corporation

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

Agile Edge Technologies, Inc (AET), headquartered in McLean, VA.  AET has merged a world-class sales, consulting, management and startup team with a revolutionary, patent pending database consulting and design company.  Together we provide remote monitoring and data collection of patent medical information providing both reduced cost and improved client service. This is accomplished through AET’s integration of wirelessly collected medical data from In-Home medical devices (Tele-Medicine) with our universal back end medical information systems. Back-end connectivity processes often involve complex interactions with SAP and Oracle information systems and AET’s Agile Data Suite can provide that capability and assist with the interaction between other complex information systems initiatives such as data warehousing, decommissioning and new systems development. Additionally, if we replace ‘patient’ with ‘student,’ we have the ability to apply the AET’s health care solution to the educational market providing similar services.

“With Datric, AET gains a recognized industry leader in data management, data warehousing and program and data implementation” said Gerry Newland, vice president of AET Alliances and Acquisitions.  “The merger with Datric allows AET to realize its strategic objectives to be the premier provider of medical and educational information from remote sensing devices”.  “Datric will be the core technology partner AET needs to build and manage its Agile Medical Suite (AMS), the central hub for data movement between patients and their health care givers and between students and educational practitioners” says Bob Borsari, President and CEO of AET.  “Datric will provide the core intellectual properties and technical staff to build a vibrant federal sector”, said Dallas Hale, President of AET’s Consulting Division.

Datric Corporation is a 9 year old company that has a reputation for superior technical performance in support of most Fortune 100 corporations.  Its strength continues to be as a provider of front end models to short circuit the implementation of large SAP, data implementation and data ware housing projects.  Its Agile Data Suite (ADS) can cut the cost and implementation time for large projects by 50 percent.
The merger of AET and Datric creates a new power player in the federal, medical and educational markets.

Agile Edge Technologies Inc. Announces Partnership with Entre Health Systems

Agile Edge Technologies, Inc., announces a partnership with Entra Health Systems for the distribution of its Myglucohealth™ blood glucose meter.  The meter, the first blood glucose meter to the market with Bluetooth communications and FDA approval, will increase the communications between the patient with diabetes and the patient’s health care giver.  Currently 1 in 6 dollars spent on health care in the US goes for the fight against the health hazards brought on by the effects of diabetes.
Agile Edge Technologies, Inc., of McLean, VA provides the Agile Medical Suite (AMS) consisting of a medical server hub that collects patient’s medical data from remote monitoring devices (EKG, EEG, Blood Glucose, Physical Therapy, drug use monitoring, and others) at the hub until the health care providers are prepared to receive the data.  If the patient’s medical data transmission indicates that the patient has reached a dangerous medical indicator, the server will automatically call the health care provider and indicate the need for immediate assistance.  While the data is housed at the server hub, records can be analyzed anonymously to report trends by person, dates or people collectively within a geographical area, age group, gender, etc. while still maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The contract with Entra Health System (EHS) gives Agile Edge Technologies (AET) exclusive rights for the product within military and veteran health programs and other selected federal and commercial health and distribution channels.
Entra Health Systems of San Diego, CA is the provider of the only blood glucose meter that has a Bluetooth communication capability and has been awarded the FDA approval.

“The Myglucohealth™ meter gives Entra Health and Agile Edge Technologies a significant market entry advantage over all other companies with blood glucose meters”. Said CEO of Entra Health Systems, Richard Strobridge.

“This relationship gives AET a strategic marketing boost and propels its Agile Medical System (AMS) to the forefront of the fight against diabetes.” Said Bob Borsari, President and CEO of Agile Edge Technologies.

Thursday, March 26, 2009

Agile Edge Technologies, Inc., announces a partnership with In Home Products of Dallas, TX for the distribution of a physical therapy machine with a remote sensing monitor.  The machine, a first of its kind, will allow the elderly, disabled and those who are home-bound to receive remote supervision of their healing and strengthening routines while confined to a wheel chair.

Agile Edge Technologies, Inc., of McLean, VA provides an Agile Medical Suite (AMS) consisting of a medical server hub that collects patient’s medical data from remote monitoring devices (EKG, EEG, Blood Glucose, Physical Therapy, drug use monitoring, and others) at the hub until the health care givers are prepared to receive the data.  If the patient’s medical data transmission indicates that the patient has reached a dangerous medical indicator, the server will automatically call the health care giver and ask for immediate assistance.  While the data is housed at the server hub, records can be analyzed to report trends by person, dates or people collectively within a geographical area, age group, gender, etc.  The Physical Therapy machine with remote sensing capabilities will connect patients with their health care givers from remote locations such as home, assisted living facilities, barracks, etc.  The PT Machine is constructed in such a way to allow ease of use from the patient’s wheel chair.

In Home Products, of Dallas, TX is a major provider of health care products throughout the South and Southwest.  It will eventually release its intellectual property rights for the PT Machine to AET over a period of time based on market acceptance and performance guarantees.  According to Ron Schnier, President of In Home Products, “the PT Machine is available at one tenth of the price of a similar device in a physical therapy facility”.  He goes on to say, “the partnership with AET allows the PT Machine to reach the greatest number of potential users with the greatest needs including the elderly, people in remote locations, home bound, war fighters, etc”.  Bob Borsari, President and CEO of AET said, “the addition of the PT Machine will round out AET’s strategic plans to create a full service remote medical monitoring company”.
